Ghazal Engineering provides support to government agencies to help with staff augmentation, design of public improvements and plan review.
 
Prior to founding Ghazal Engineering, Mr. Ghazal accumulated over 18 years of public sector experience as a consultant to many governmental agencies and Tribal Nations throughout California. This experience included design and bid assistance on a variety of public improvement projects, civil plan & map review, and City Engineering services.

Design of Capital Improvements

Ghazal Engineering is well versed in the design and delivery of capital improvement projects.  Mr. Ghazal has worked with many local agencies throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.

Civil Plan & Map Reviews

Public agencies sometimes require assistance with review of both private development and capital projects.  These reviews occur at the planning stage for entitlement and also during final engineering.  We have the experience and technical expertise to assist agencies with review of civil plan and map submittals.  Each review is always performed by a qualified licensed professional. 

 

We work closely with each client to establish a clear plan review process, which at a minimum, involves maintaining excellent communication with City staff and applicants.  Our reviews cover the following:

  • Traffic Signal / Signing & Striping

  • Storm Drain Improvements

Digital Plan Review

To help reduce turn-around times and save paper, Ghazal Engineering always encourages the use of digital reviews.  All digital reviews are performed using Bluebeam software.

Surveying Services

Ghazal Engineering provides survey services to public clients to support the design of capital projects.  We strive to utilize the latest survey technology, which includes both robotic total stations and GNSS receivers from Trimble.

Photogrammetry & Lidar

For larger projects, we will utilize our survey partners to fly the project and provide survey data through photogrammetric or lidar methods.

Plan Scanning and Digital Archiving

Many jurisdictions are transitioning to a digital environment and that involves scanning stored plan files to digital files.  Ghazal Engineering provides large format scanning to help agencies make this transition.
