ABOUT
Welcome to Ghazal Engineering, a Civil Engineering and Land Surveying consulting firm committed to improving our built environment through creativity, collaboration, and strong values. Founder and principal owner, Johnny Ghazal, has over 20 years of experience in the private and public sectors throughout California. The son and grandson of land developers and builders, Mr. Ghazal grew up immersed in the construction trade with his father. This experience evolved into his passion for civil engineering and land surveying.
A graduate of California Polytechnic University, Mr. Ghazal started his engineering career with PBS&J, one of the largest engineering design firms in the United States at the time. At PBS&J, Mr. Ghazal gained his design experience with a number of master-planned residential communities throughout Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. These large-scale projects included the design of many residential subdivision tracts and associated roadway, storm drain, water and sewer infrastructure. Eager to expand his capabilities, Mr. Ghazal joined Willdan Engineering in 2006, known for providing consulting services to public agencies at all levels of government. At Willdan, Mr. Ghazal gained his public sector experience, designing and managing capital public works projects for many public agencies throughout Southern California. During his time at Willdan, he provided City Engineering services and managed plan review services for public agency clients across California including Native American sovereign nations.
